Llamas & Donkeys
We have a number of animals that are located on the farm that are both pets and breeding stock. We have had the miniature donkeys for 8 years now and do have the foals for sale in the foaling season. April and Daylight are the two miniatures that are currently bred by the farm’s jack, Chaco, a black stud. Lilly is April’s baby from last season and is currently one in half years of age and will be bred in about two years. Jody, who is a standard donkey acts as the babysitter during weaning times and is a great pet.
The miniature llamas were a new addition to the farm recently. We had our first cria born on the farm last November. Mighty is the mother to Allie, who is now almost a year old. Smut was bought as a six month old and is currently a year in a half. Bandit is the newest addition to the farm and is currently being weaned from his mom, Dolly. Mighty has been bred back this season is will be expecting next spring.
